Reporting into the CFO of Manchester Airport Group (MAG) and partnering with the CEO of Stansted Airport, the Finance Director will be integral to the growth and transformation agenda already underway. This role will provide a business partnering service to the airport and sit on the senior leadership team at a local level.

Reporting into the CFO, sitting on the local Senior Leadership team and working closely with the Airport CEO, the Finance Director will take on 3 key areas of accountability:
Financial Control
- Ensure an appropriate framework across the division
- Frequent reviews of all divisional projects and operations
- Responsibility for divisional business planning, quarterly forecasting and performance review processes
- Drive the quality of the outputs from the Stansted division ensuring KFI's are achieved
Transformational leader
- As a member of the SLT, you will drive the cultural change and performance improvement agenda across the airport
- Working with the Group BI team, support the development of new integrated business information
- Drive the creation and measurement of forward-looking financial indicators
- Encourage a developmental culture for the Stansted finance team
Strategic Partner
- Provide strong financial review with effective support for business development initiatives and supporting business cases
- Provide a strong finance partnering support to the CEO, maximising Group value add of the Stansted operation
- Advise and guide on strategy development and viability of initiatives
- Responsibility for long-term business plan and financial model to support the development of future airport capacity
- Support future decision-making on significant capital investment programmes and aviation pricing strategies
Profile

- A track record of continual improvement and an ability to drive transformation
- Professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial and strategic thinking
- Ability to use complex data to support key decision making
- Understanding of commercial drivers in a business and a knowledge of how best to capitalise on these
- A highly effective communicator and influencer across the SLT and main board
