My client is part of a larger UK group, now looking for a Senior Finance Manager to head up local finance at their Ilford based site.
Working with the local SMT, this role will be focused on provided first class, timely management information in order for key business decisions to be made around spend, budgets and forecasts.
As a full business partner, you'll help different departmental budget holders ensure that they maintain proposed spend and work with them when forecasts change in order to make best use of the money available. You'll offer operational support too - helping budget holders to understand the commercial impacts of their decisions. More broadly, you'll maintain the overall sites performance to budget and contracts, providing guidance and updates on business performance.
You'll ensure you deliver insightful management accounts, with full associated commentary and analysis to Group Head Office.
Applicants are sought from fully qualified accountants, with extensive, hands on business partnering experience. Early autonomy is offered with this position, but with a support structure of a transactional shared service centre off site.
There is a small element of travel to the role; the head office sits in Berkshire and it is anticipated that the successful candidate will meet with the head office 1-2 times per month. Additionally there will be 3-4 times a month travel to a North Kent based site, as this role will manage a Finance Manager based here.
