A well respected housebuilder is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to oversee the finance team and provide support to the Finance and Managing Director. The role will be to ensure robust financial control is provided to the business and improve processes and reporting.
Role
You will be a fully qualified accountant with the capability of working with people at all levels. You will have experience of challenging assumptions as well as leading and motivating a finance team.
Offer
£90,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Role
- Ensure that there is a robust financial control environment in place at all times.
- Lead the review and harmonisation of financial reporting and control processes, ensuring processes are delivered consistently and efficiently.
- Lead the periodic close process including the preparation of the periodic Management Accounts.
- Lead the preparation of half year and full year statutory reporting requirements.
- Be the technical accounting ‘go-to’ person for the Division, supporting and advising on key strategic decisions.
- Deliver weekly and periodic Divisional reporting requirements e.g. sales reporting and cashflow forecasts, as well as, ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects to support the growth and strategy of the Division.
- Be the key point of contact and coordination for internal and external audit.
