About the Finance Business Partner role:

This exciting Finance Business Partner role will act as the primary expert and interface between Finance and Distribution teams. You will provide insight, challenge and offer strategic support to the business and help drive the organisation forward by leveraging your financial and commercial expertise and understanding.

You will be responsible for:

• Business partnering both the Joining Forces programme team and Network - Development team supporting them to optimise the network and deliver the financial plan
• Provide cover for the Distribution and Fulfillment Head of Finance when needed to support the Distribution Leadership team
• Review business plans and forecasts to ensure they're robust and practical; balancing realism with appropriate level of risk/stretch
• Provide Financial stewardship to ensure proposals and projects are robust and all relevant stakeholders are engaged and kept updated
• Provide reporting, insight, and performance analysis to support the team to fully understand targets, trajectory against those targets and dependencies to deliver future plans.
• Streamline business reviews to focus management on the KPIs that drive performance and the most critical risks and opportunities
• Apply a broad range of analytical techniques to identify further business issues, opportunities, and risks
• Drive continuous improvement of analysis and insight provided to the business

You will need:

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (preferred)
• Finance experience in landing strategic priorities in large complex organisations
• Skilled at driving performance improvements across large stakeholder groups
• Experience of engaging and working with senior business stakeholders
• Highly evolved financial analysis skills
