Well established growing commercial business are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to be based at their offices near Colchester, Essex
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director and with a dotted line to the Managing Director the Financial Controller will lead finance for the business. They will manage a small but highly efficient finance team and be part of the senior management team working closely with the operational management and sales to provide business partner support with budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
They will manage the finance function on a day to day basis provide support and development to the team, processes and systems.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for cashflow management, monthly management and statutory reporting FRS102 and be the point of contact to bank and auditors as well as managing the annual audit.
They will have strong costing and inventory accounting experience and business partnering skills.
What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant with broad financial and management reporting experience ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. They will have excellent attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. They will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels.
What you'll get in return
The Financial Controller will be offered a salary in the region of £50,000 to £65,000 plus 25 days holiday, pension and health insurance. This is a all encompassing Financial Controller role where you can lead finance and be part of the management team to drive business performance.
