Financial Controller/Financial Manager Distribution company in Wakefield

Your new role
Reporting to the UK Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the finances of the UK subsidiary of a major international business including: Day to day running of the finance team, overseeing all finance transactions including invoicing, debt chasing, purchase ledger. Cost accounting, treasury management, production of management accounts and reporting, statutory accounts, payroll, VAT, Tax and HMRC returns, stock management, system implementation (SAP) training staff on the new system, supporting the Managing Director with commercial decision making, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. You will be expected to undertake occasional European travel as part of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record gained within financial management. Expertise with financial systems would be beneficial- in particular SAP.
