Client:

Our client is a smart technology provider who works with clients in the retail, financial services, technology and media industries - many of which are in the FTSE 100. The company is highly relied upon by these companies to respond to the increasing need to comply with regulation. They have experienced fantastic growth over the years and area going from strength to strength. Our client is looking to enhance their medium sized In-House legal team, the position will report directly to the Legal Director and CEO.

Role:

The responsibilities are diverse and challenging where you will receive exposure across the whole business. Typical day to day activities may include retail terms for investment products, M&A activity and regulatory/compliance surrounding consumer regulation, CASS and MIFID.

Key Requirements:
  • Current Legal Counsel's or private practice Solicitors ranging from 6 PQE - 12 PQE* are encouraged to apply, although candidates outside of this range will also be considered if they have the right skills and experience
  • Background in one or the following is preferred: corporate, financial services/ investment/ banking
  • Any understanding of FCA, CASS and MIFID, capital markets, shares, IPO's, would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation would be beneficial but not essential
