Your new company

Due to an increased workload, we are now looking to recruit a Locum Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to work in the heart of the city centre for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of being extended further. Birmingham City Council is the largest single local authority in Europe offering a range of opportunities and regeneration. Your new role

As an experienced Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for the management of the commercial property team and leading on the day to day legal delivery of the operation and maintenance of the Council's very large property asset portfolio, along with working collaboratively with Property Services and Officers within the Council's Inclusive Growth Directorate.

What you'll need to succeed

As a qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive, you will have an understanding of all areas of commercial property management including varied freehold and leasehold dealings, surrenders, regears, easements, covenants and property management processes and the ability to work across teams as part of the wider planning, property and regeneration team.
