We are currently handling a CFO search for a private equity backed B2B business operating in the exhibition and conference space, based in London. The business strategy is to grow both organically and through acquisition. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the wider management team, you will;
- Inform and influence strategy as part of the Board
- Work with the CEO and Senior Team to generate financial plans
- Develop KPIs for the business and provide regular and insightful management accounts, forecasts, analysis and commentary
- Develop and optimise accounting, process and controls and assist with IT & systems implementation to enhance efficiency
- Ensure there is an environment of strong financial control, balance sheet integrity and reliable transactional finance processes
- Lead on any M&A transactions, including due diligence and integration.
- Manage, mentor and develop the finance function
- Manage external relationships with the banks and auditors etc.
- Qualified accountant
- B2B sector experience (particularly in the exhibitions & conference space would be very beneficial)
- Private Equity experience
- Experience of partnering a CEO in a high growth business
- Experience with IT and implementation of new systems and processes
