Your new company
This group operates across the construction and infrastructure sector and with its diversified offering has successfully completed a variety of high profile Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects. The company has a collaborative head office environment here in central London and looking to bring someone to take ownership over an important part of the business.
Your new role
You will be the number one in finance directly supporting the CEO and senior management team and have overall responsibility for the statutory and commercial finances for the group and the portfolio/project companies. You will have line management for 2 qualified accountants supporting their on-going professional development. Business partnering the CEO, COO and Asset Managers, you will provide commercial insight and support where possible, and the breadth of the role involving the updating of financial models, performing valuations, tax, audit and presenting quarterly reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA or ACCA accounting qualification and have had experience of management and statutory reporting. You will also have a strong analytical and modelling skill set to interpret financial data and the ability to present this to senior stakeholders, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and established organisation. You will ideally have experience working in the infrastructure sector to demonstrate knowledge of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects.
