Housing Litigation Lawyer

LAW Absolute are currently recruiting to a part time Housing Litigation Lawyer position with a Local Authority based in Leicestershire. An experienced housing litigator is required with the ability to pick up civil, criminal litigation and licensing as required.

It is essential that the successful candidate has a positive can do attitude and ability to work as part of a team and with client departments. The candidate will also be required to support the legal team with more general instructions. The placement is for 3 days per week ( but negotiable depending on candidates skill set) and likely to be required up to March 2020.

The successful candidate will be required to carry a full caseload from the outset. The caseload will include the following matters:

-Disrepair,

-Anti-social behaviour,

-Possession matters,

-Homelessness and,

-Rent arrears.

Due to the urgent nature of the role, you must be able to start on no more than two weeks' notice and carry a full caseload from the outset. Candidates with previous local authority experience are encouraged to apply.
