ABPM as experts in financial recruitment are working exclusively with a major manufacturing group in the appointment of Commercial Financial Controller to the group centre. The role is multi faceted with management of a finance team and is responsible for all aspects of commercial finance activities of the group. This is an extremely varied role working in a team. but will have strong emphasis on providing analytical support from a finance perspective to senior management.

Duties include;

Overseeing the production of monthly management information, including management accounts, forecasts and relevant KPIs, in an agreed format. This will include reports required for the monthly Board Meetings

Monitor and control the performance against budget and investigate variances

Production of monthly forecasts

The production of statutory accounts for a number of entities

Oversight of revenue management and invoicing processes

Attending the Senior Management meetings and monitoring performance against both financial budgets and other KPIs set for the business

Management and development of the team

The new appointment will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience of managing a team and a proven background in a varied, all round finance role. The business requires someone who has strong analytical/modelling skills and commercial exposure as this will be a key focus. Any multi-site experience and operating in a fast paced setting will be very useful.
