This Global giant, a leader in the legal sector and at the forefront of technology is looking to hire an inhouse legal counsel to be based in their Manchester office.
This role will offer a variety of legal work including: complex high value commercial transactions, corporate and M&A deals, IP, SaaS, software agreements, data privacy, compliance and litigation. You will be required to quickly and commercially assess the risk of such contracts.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum 2 years PQE* and gained within a respected firm or similar inhouse environment. You must be able to demonstrate first class communication skills and commercial acumen. Your legal experience will ideally include a strong focus in the following areas; contract management and negotiation, intellectual property law, servicing, vendor/supply procurement of technology services and products, acquisitions and general corporate matters. This is a global role for the organisation and as such, additional language skills would be a bonus, although are not a pre-requisite.
