Our client is a high growth privately owned business with a well established model underpinning strong organic growth. The business has very ambitious growth plans, a large and very fragmented market opportunity to address, all in all a compelling opportunity.
The Finance Director will report to the Managing Director, and play a key role in running the business day to day with a small senior management team. In the short to medium term this will require a degree of hands on involvement as well.
Potential canddiates should be at a point in their career where they can foresee a prolonged period of growth and personal development. The role is too hands on in the short term to satisfy someone who has been there and done it many times. However, with forecast growth, this will not always be the case, there is a great opportunity for someone to develop their career with the business in the medium term.
Experience of private equity/capital raising would be useful, but is not essential. More important will be intellect, tan ability to operate effectively in an informal working atmosphere that idisguises real ambition and drive, whilst covering the ground from strategy to day to day detail.
It is anticipated that the successful canddiate will work towards the award of share options in the business.
An initial basic salary of £70,000 to £80,000 pa is envisaged.
