Construction Solicitor

An international law firm is looking for a Construction Solicitor to join them for a full-time, permanent role in Manchester. This role will involve advising on construction disputes on an international, national and local scale so there is great variety, together with secondment opportunities and plenty of room for progression.

The Firm

The successful Solicitor will be joining the Legal 500 ranked construction team of a highly regarded international firm known for their modern and progressive approach.

The Role

Joining a team with ambitious growth plans, the successful construction litigation solicitor will be responsible for:

• Handling complex and high-level construction disputes on a regional, national and global scale
• Getting involved in cutting edge construction work
• Acting for an impressive client base including governments, public bodies and well-known major corporations
• Working with experienced lawyers, gaining exposure to a varied and challenging construction disputes caseload across a range of sectors

The Candidate

The firm looks to hire a Construction Solicitor who demonstrates:

• 2-5 years of PQE handling contentious work
• Excellent technical skills
• An understanding of the importance of delivering a first-rate client service

Candidates with a broader commercial insurance, commercial litigation or professional indemnity background and some experience dealing with claims on behalf of construction professionals who would like to specialise in construction disputes work are also encouraged to apply.
