Partner Financial are working with a leading retailer who are currently embarking on a major Finance Transformation Programme. We are interested in speaking to candidates who have deep, 'best in class' knowledge with experience, ideally having worked within a large listed retailer.
You will be responsible for designing and developing a new common Chart of Accounts, which is scalable across the Group. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role and a proven track record of delivery working in large complex organisations.
Key Deliverables:
You will be responsible for designing and developing a new common Chart of Accounts, which is scalable across the Group. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar role and a proven track record of delivery working in large complex organisations.
Key Deliverables:
- Leading the Transformation to establish a single and scalable Chart of Accounts covering the entire Group;
- Leading the design and development of a common Chart of Accounts and ensuring adoption across the Group.
- Reviewing and mapping the R2R process review in line with the standardised SAP template and Group policy;
- Working with key senior stakeholders to define the target accounting model;
- Manual documentation of the Chart of Accounts;
- Development of the Chart of Accounts.
- A qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in large complex organisations;
- Proven experience leading the design of a common chart of accounts in a large retail organisation;
- Knowledge and experience of mapping key finance processes and controls;
- Prior experience working in a large retail, consumer or ecommerce business is desirable;
- Practical understanding of Finance Systems and ERP implementation lifecycles;
- Experience working within a large retail organisation is essential.
