Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with Drax Customer as they go through an exciting period of change.
Drax are combining two business units, and building an entirely new, high performing finance team to support this. The new team will be based at their modern offices in Northampton.
One of the roles we are recruiting for is a Finance Manager (Margin), and they will be responsible for the financial and management accounting of all aspects of revenue and gross margin. They will manage a team of two Management Accountants, and will oversee the production of monthly management accounting, review monthly journals, and establish strong financial controls and reporting for the business. The Finance Manager - Margin will be expected to ensure sufficient reconciliations and transactional controls exist to satisfy management of the precise nature of the accounting records. As the leader of the Margin team they will need to develop and maintain high quality communication with the business's non-finance stakeholders in order to ensure that key information flows include business data required for finance and reporting. This role will support the audit cycle, including interim financial reviews, internal audit reviews, as well as year end external audit.
This role will suit a Professionally Qualified Accountant with 2-5 years PQE, who possesses strong management and financial accounting experience from a medium - large company environment. Experience of leading a small team is a pre-requisite for this position, as is the ability to build lasting relationships.
Our Client is offering a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits.
