Our client is a sizeable, private equity backed business based in North Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit a talented M&A Manager with strong business partnering skills who will be responsible for supporting the CFO and the board to deliver a significant expansion and diversification plan through strategic acquisitions across Europe. Key responsibilities will include:

*Due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
*Production of high quality analysis.
*Development of new models across areas such as funding, working capital and debt structure.
*Business investment and capital expenditure case development.
*Cost analysis and budgeting.
*P&L reporting and analysis.
*Post-acquisition integration.
*Project accounting and scenario analysis.

The ideal candidate will either already be a fully ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with demonstrable success in their career to date. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders is essential. Ideally you will have your career foundations in the accountancy practice building that strong technical knowledge. An exceptional knowledge of balance sheet accounting is essential.

You will have an excellent knowledge of Excel and be capable of building and running complex models. You will be comfortable presenting information at board level, working in a fast paced business with strong ambitions for growth.

At least one European language as well as English is essential to be considered for the role.
