Interim Accountant

Our client based on the outskirts of Northampton is looking for a hands-on Accountant to join them as soon as possible in a varied role.

The position, reporting to the head of the team will be varied and duties will include;

Balance sheet population
Analysing reports and records and putting together recommendations based on this analysis
Cashflow forecasting
Assisting with financial and tax audits
Reviewing journal entries
Getting heavily involved with accounting projects and initiatives
Reviewing internal controls and working with auditors

This role will suit someone who likes being involved in all aspects of finance and wants to feel like they are making a difference.

You will be deadline oriented and an excellent communicator as this position will get involved with a variety of stakeholders.

Strong IT skills - notably in Excel - are essential and exposure to Navision would be an advantage although not essential.

A keen eye for detail and an analytical nature are also key to the success of this position.
