The role:
- Responsible for ensuring all aspects of balance sheet reporting and financial accounting within the markets are completed and reviewed on a timely basis
- Support the roll out of changes in US GAAP accounting requirements across the division
- Involvement in purchase accounting and other US GAAP related balance sheet entries, ensuring divisional balance sheet is compliant with US GAAP
- Ensure the monthly SOX controls processes are completed in a timely manner for the divisional Head Office
- Prepare quarterly SOX disclosure package for the division, reviewing local market submissions and consolidating into a divisional submission for review by the Reporting & Controls Manager
The candidate:
- ACA qualified with 2-4 years PQE
- Experience of working for/with large multinational corporates is essential for this role
- Strong technical accounting skills and excel skills
- Understanding of new lease accounting & revenue recognition standards, and practical experience of their application
- Experience of US GAAP and using Oracle/BPC is desirable
- Candidate is hard working, dependable and self-motivated
