An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join this dynamic brand leading global organisation that through acquisition continues to grow and is therefore going through a period of positive change.
Key responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Manager job will include:
- Preparing annual external corporation tax returns and computations in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
- Build relationships and interact with internal and external customers to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Review and undertake audit of tax packs prepared by business units, through to completion of CT return for submission to HMRC
- Identify and mitigate tax risks
- Preparation and responsibility for year-end tax reporting, tax papers, and to advise on tax notes for inclusion in statutory accounts
- Provide corporate tax support on projects involving business, organisational and system changes
- Review and update Transfer Pricing documentation, and involvement in year-end Transfer Pricing calculation for appropriate business units throughout the group
The ideal Corporate Tax Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Qualified tax professional
- Demonstrable working experience in a corporate tax role preferably in industry
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and tax compliance and ability to understand and work through complex tax positions in relation to Corporation Tax
- Strong systems knowledge, in particular Microsoft Excel
