Our client is a new organisation dedicated to improving housing options for the homeless. Created by 13 London boroughs, this exciting not-for-profit aims to secure accommodation in London, reduce competition between councils and produce better outcomes for the city’s homeless households.
They are now seeking a Finance Manager to join them on a full time basis and oversee all financial activities for the organisation.

The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will facilitate the financial health of the organisation.
Supporting the Executive Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the staff and finance function in its delivery of financial reporting, forecasting, budgets and budgetary performance, analysis and transaction processing.
Liaising with stakeholders, you will:
- Help to create budgets and report on income and expenditure
- Create budgets for financial bids and model payment-by-results contracts
- Complete payroll and invoicing activities
- Process cash, cheque and BACS payments
- Monitor the organisation’s cash and overall financial positions
About You
To be considered as the Finance Manager, you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant
- Post qualification experience of managing a team
- Extensive system experience, including implementing or developing finance systems
- Excellent communicative abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills
Although not essential, knowledge of the property management and/or housing finance sector would be beneficial.
