An exciting opportunity has surfaced for a Legal Counsel to join a major retail group in the FMCG sector. This is a full time, permanent position at their office in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The Group is a UK leader in the wholesale industry, as well as operating a number of successful businesses in other areas. They have a small, yet highly experienced legal team which is seeking to expand with the business. This would provide an ideal opportunity for a junior Commercial Lawyer wishing to develop their experience of working closely with key stakeholders across a variety of commercial disciplines.

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
- Advising on advertising and marketing matters
- Intellectual Property matters
- Regulatory matters, including tobacco and alcohol regulations
- Civil and commercial litigation
The ideal In House Counsel will be able to demonstrate:
- 0-5 years' PQE
- Strong commercial experience
- Some in house experience (advantageous)
- Good commercial acumen
- An interest in providing impactful advice to senior stakeholders
- The willingness to develop knowledge in the sector and the ability to learn quickly
