Finance Manager

My client is a leading Kent based construction business, with an impressive order book and long established name in the sector.

A Finance Manager is now sought to lead the small finance team and to work across the whole business; working closely with commercial and operational teams and well as project leaders.

The role will have full responsibility for timely production of monthly management accounts - including full analysis and commentary, along with the reconciling the balance sheet and P&L accounts. Working with various departments, you'll ensure sales forecasts and project figures for the business are accurately controlled, with all budget variations understood and managed appropriately. You'll be responsible for all statutory obligations (tax, VAT and other HMRC requirements) along with various grant and funding applications. You'll look after the team and be a technical reference point for any queries they may have with their day to day duties.

Applications are sought from candidates with out and out construction sector experience within a similar role and with the team leading experience. Good excel skills and the ability to drive improvements and efficiencies is also required.
