The Consultancy Group are working closely with a global FTSE 100 Technology firm located in North London. They are currently in search for an Interim Group Financial Controller. This is a very exciting time to join the firm as they are currently going through a period of hypergrowth.

- Taking responsibility for the year end and half year end financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting output in accordance with IFRS
- Responsibility for the audit process
- Overseeing the preparation of the financial statements for the Group's subsidiaries
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly control packs as part of the month end process
- Overseeing the preparation of the quarterly KPI information required for external reporting and liaising with key stakeholders
- Provide technical training within finance and outside of finance
- Supporting technical updates and papers to the Audit Committee
- Formulating accounting policy, in conjunction with the financial reporting accountant, providing technical advice and guidance to the rest of the business in relation to IFRS accounting treatments of various matters (including advising the business in relation to new commercial contracts)
- Managing the performance and development of the financial reporting team
- Supporting the commercial team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly or budget/forecast information
- Accounting for the Group's share schemes, advising on treatment of these schemes
- Reviewing and approval of expenses and payments
Key Skills:
- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and experience of preparing/auditing financial statements under IFRS
- PLC Experience Essential and/or Senior Manager Level from Big 4
- Comfortable using ERP Systems (e. Oracle Financials)
