Partner Financial are working with a PE backed Pharmaceutical company with a clear growth strategy. The Group is ideally positioned to continue to expand by acquisition, currently overseeing 70 sites across the UK with ambitious plans for the future. Recent investment within the finance function as well as revenue doubling over the last few years makes this an exciting prospect for a driven candidate.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the consolidation of over 30 entities, balance sheet reconciliation while also working on an ad hoc basis with the Group Financial Controller. For the right candidate this opportunity will provide ample possibilities for career development across the business as they look to create a ‘best in class’ finance function.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting with the delivery of all monthly actuals (P&L and Balance Sheet) and ensuring UK Gaap compliance
  • Supporting the Group consolidation process and preparing the consolidated Financial Statements for the PE house
  • Supporting the Group with acquisitions and due diligence
  • Ensuring integrity of the consolidated monthly results which are then presented to the business units
  • Working with the Group Financial Controller to ensure monthly, quarterly and yearly deadlines are achieved
  • Ensuring delivery of high quality and accurate financial information for the Senior Management Team
  • Identifying new accounting standards and working with the business to ensure continued compliance
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with the External Audit process
The ideal candidate:
  • ACA qualified – ideally big 4
  • Experience working with complex consolidations
  • Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and driven to succeed
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
