An opportunity for a Finance Director at a well-established FMCG business operating in a highly profitable environment with their Head Office in The West Midlands. As part of larger group and being part of a rapidly changing and expanding market, they are investing significantly for the future and embracing the multi-channel business model and expansion both in the UK and across Europe.
Supporting the Finance function and reporting to the Managing Director, there is an opportunity for a Finance Director to take on all aspects of financial management and help shape the future and direction of the business both at a strategic and operational level. As the business expands there will be an opportunity to be part of this changing environment.
With exposure within an FMCG, multi-channel or distribution related business, you will have both strong commercial skills, business partnering and credibility as a Finance leader in a similar environment. You will take on full responsibility for all financial reporting and controls across the business and help build and maintain a team to deliver full financial support and services. Looking after the day to day finance function, you will take on a broad remit that will include IT and other non-finance projects.
With significant PQE experience you will have a high degree of technical experience and be looking for a move as an existing Finance Director or maybe moving into this level of role from a Financial Controller. A sound understanding of UK and US GAAP is a preference as well as experience with corporate governance.
