General Practice Partner

A fantastic firm of chartered accountants is looking to recruit a General Practice Partner as an all-round adviser to their wide ranging client base. This is a permanent, full time role based in Redhill, Surrey.

Client Details

This firm are renowned for their service and market knowledge. They operate a great work life balance for their staff and as a consequence have an excellent staff retention rate. They offer a wide array of general practice services (accounts, tax & audit) to a varied portfolio of loyal clients in the Surrey, Kent and Sussex markets. Their clients range from small owner managed businesses through to large national groups with turnovers up to £30m.

Role Description

You will join the firm as salaried Partner / Associate Partner with a view to progressing into full Partnership. You will play a key, lead role in the further growth and development of this successful office, taking on duties to include:

• Overseeing and managing a large portfolio of clients and undertaking a client-facing advisory service to clients, developing relationships with the clients
• Driving the growth of this department in a business development focused capacity, winning new work
• Managing the wider team and overseeing the delivery of compliance and advisory projects, working with the wider management and support team on this

Candidate Requirements

The practice is seeking a General Practice Partner who can demonstrate:

• A formal accounting qualification - ACA / ACCA / CTA etc
• A strong accountancy practice background
• Skills across the range of accounts, tax, audit, advisory and planning skills as a general, all round practitioner
• Experienced as a general accountant / tax adviser to sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs across varied industries and turnovers up into the £millions
• Career development to partnership in either a salaried / equity / profit share
• The desire to take on a pivotal role in driving the future growth and development of these successful offices

On Offer

The General Practice Partner will receive a salary of around £75,000 - £100,0000 per annum as well as generous benefits.
