Our client, a market leading international transport and distribution business with multiple sites across the UK are currently searching for a Finance Manager/Business Partner to join their team. This is a newly created role, designed to support a regional network of Site/Area Managers in order to drive effective financial planning and profit improvement.
Heavily operationally focused, you will be expected to engage regularly with non financial stakeholders to evaluate future plans for the business units and provide a wide range of commercial suggestions and solutions.
Furthermore you will be a key figure in developing robust management reporting strategy throughout the operations function and in particular working with stakeholders to build their financial awareness, and track performance levels via KPI's, flash reports and other metrics.
The ideal candidate will have a very strong academic profile alongside a full accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) and a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders across (preferably) a multi site business. This role will involve extensive travel across three regional locations (Warrington/Leeds/Rugby) and as such you must be mobile and flexible to move between offices on a regular basis.
This is an exception position which will significantly raise your profile throughout the business. In return you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package including car allowance, up to 20% (performance related) bonus, private healthcare and pension scheme.
