Responsibilities of your new role
The key duties of your new Legal Counsel role will include:
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing international commercial contracts with customers and supporting sales teams with commercial agreements
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing international commercial agreements in relation to supply chain
- Coaching and supporting more junior members of the team
- Supporting the business in any commercial disputes
- Development and delivery of internal training on legal updates and compliance (e.g. anti-bribery & corruption)
The business wishes to speak with Legal Counsel applicants who:
- Have 4-8 years of PQE (although other levels will be considered)
- Have experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including sales, distribution, and IT
- Is comfortable working in other jurisdictions and travelling accordingly
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with legal and non-legal colleagues throughout the business
Salary
The successful Legal Counsel will be offered £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
