A reputable business in the Travel & Tourism sector is looking for a Financial Controller to join them in Northampton for a full-time, permanent role. In a highly varied role, the Financial Controller will support the Managing Director and leadership team whilst ensuring the smooth running of finance.

Responsibilities of your new role
The key responsibilities of your new Financial Control position will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
- Providing an insight into trading based on actual versus forecast
- Preparation of a quarterly rolling forecast
- Managing the budgeting process
- Ensuring the month end close is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Managing the cash-flow to ensure it meets the needs of the business
- Providing commercial support to the operational teams
- Managing the transactional ledgers
- Liaising with the auditors and external advisors
The successful Financial Controller will be a qualified Accountant who demonstrates:
- Confidence working in an SME environment with a broad and varied remit
- Previous responsibility for managing the month end process
- Highly skilled producing monthly management accounts
- As comfortable posting ledgers as producing the year end statutory accounts
The successful Financial Controller will be offered £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including a pension scheme.
