Based in central London my client , a Private Equity house has a current vacancy for a Finance Director
They are looking for someone to serve as its Finance Director. As FD, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our fund management business. This includes management accounts, financial reporting, interaction with third party auditors and administrators, capital calls and Fund reporting, tax and tax filing, treasury management (for the general partner, not the portfolio companies or the fund), intercompany transfers and reconciliations, compliance, and general cash management.
Experience
You will need to be comfortable in a multi-currency environment ($, € and £) that is fast paced with high level interaction with investors and CEOs. Your likely background is 5-7 years post-qualification, with some Big 4 audit experience prior to experience either in a fund management company in a financial control role or for a small or medium sized company backed by a private equity investor.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience but circa £90,000, plus bonus, health care, and carried interest.
Organization
You will have one direct report, our office manager, and will report directly to the managing partners of the firm.
