Responsibilities of your new role
Reporting into the General Counsel and collaborating with colleagues in project management, sales, and commercial, the Legal Counsel will advise on:
- Acquiring complex, large, and international projects
- Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
- Managing the negotiation and bidding process
- Assessing risk throughout
- Project management
- Collaborating with project managers and colleagues in local offices
- Dealing with pre-litigious activity
- Advising on construction matters (contentious and non-contentious)
- Handling disputes
To be considered for this In-House Counsel role, applicants must demonstrate:
- 3+ years PQE
- Experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
- Some experience or insight into construction matters (not essential)
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- The desire to work on an international scale and travel
Salary
The successful Legal Counsel will be offered £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
