I am currently working with a multi-billion turnover private education business, based in over 25 countries and in the middle of ambitious grown plan to double the number of assets in their portfolio. Your new role
This is a newly created role within the organisation. You will be responsible for the management of the head office cost base, bridging the gap between controls and FP&A to ensure the cost base remains on forecast. This is a role offering fantastic exposure, working with each individual EXCO member of their cost base, helping them to understand the impact of the decisions they are making and aiding in any negotiations on cost related issues. Given it is a newly created role you will be given the autonomy to shape the position including the creation of the reports for EXCO members and you will quickly become one of the key figures for internal stakeholders to discuss any finance related matters with.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong mix of financial controls and budgeting/forecasting skills. You will have worked in a similar head office environment in a cost focused role and demonstrate the communication and business partnering skills needed to build excellent working relationships with the executive committee.
