Description
As Finance Director, this is a Board level appointment, contributing to divisional strategy and principle responsibility for all financial management of a leading manufacturing business. Leading a small finance team, working across the business to evaluate operations and develop medium and long term planning to increase revenue, and improve business profitability through a number of change initiatives.
Analysis of manufacturing, supply chain, product costing, pricing and commercial contracts will be a key element of the role.
Profile
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), who has significant financial leadership exposure, ideally within a sizeable manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale business. Applicants must have the financial management expertise, to take responsibility for a complex business (controls, compliance, balance sheet, P&L, group reporting, tax, FP&A), but a large proportion of this role will be supporting the MD and management team with significant business improvements. Adding value, across a wide spectrum of analysis and advisory activities will be crucial. Ideally candidates will have Finance Director experience already.
