Our client a local authority based in London is seeking a qualified Corporate Solicitor, with at least 2 years qualified experience for an interim contract.

Duties include:
- To provide high level legal advice in Employment, Education, Equal and Information law, while effectively managing their case load.
- To provide specialist and pro active legal advice at a senior level.
- To deal with corporate complaints and Member inquiries on planning or participating in corporate policy or project groups.
- To liaison with clients and provide regular updates on case load, while attending committee meetings and take lead in developing policy.
- To supervise and guide the running of the team.
- To keep up to date with changes in the law and provide training to clients and our legal department.
- To use and assist others using IT to carry out duties effectively and efficiently following compliance with Data protection Act and other legislation.
