Disputes will be wide ranging, including defects, delay and disruption, adjudications and ADR. You can expect to handle standard suite contracts such as JCT contracts and PFI arrangements. During the process, you will frequently handle negotiations and commercial settlements but on occasion, you may refer to external counsel for adjudications, advocacy and complex / high level litigation.

  • Commercial litigation and ADR experience (essential)
  • PFI knowledge is highly desirable but not essential

In return, you will be rewarded with a salary plus a car allowance, bonus and benefits. Some degree of flexible working arrangements may be considered.

In this sizeable organisation, which boasts an international legal team, you will report to a very friendly Dispute Resolution Lawyer and work alongside a well-integrated and dynamic group of individuals including a couple of other Construction litigators. You will enjoy a great deal of autonomy, independence and job satisfaction. Support will be provided to all new joiners to ensure successful integration within the business.

The development opportunities come down to you - you can expand your experience within the litigation field but there is also the prospect of developing your knowledge and skills across the other departments or perhaps jurisdictions.
