Our client, leaders in their field, are looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join their finance team. The role will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the ERP system along with reporting and wider improvement projects.
The role will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a passion for improving technology to deliver 'best in class' financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills and strong BI tool knowledge will also be crucial for the role.
The role will be responsible for:
- Manage new developments to the ERP system and the project workload across the team
- Manage the month end processes for the newly integrated Business Unit, once this has been migrated to the ERP system
- Create and maintain reports using Business Objects and Excel
- Review and manage all reports produced by the team
- Involvement in Group IT projects which require financial systems expertise
- Work closely with the Systems Accountant to understand existing processes and find improvements.
- Work across the Finance, Commercial, Operational, Business Improvement and Sustainability divisions to support possible improvements within the existing systems/processes and areas that could feasibly be developed
- Provide the relationship point with the 3rd party providers to discuss updates, development projects etc
