Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is partnered with a global client in Knutsford on an exciting Senior Financial Accountant opportunity for a 9 month interim contract.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end ledger close process through to preparation of the group reporting pack including commentary and variance analysis
- Preparation of the UK subsidiary statutory accounts
- Manage audit of the statutory accounts
- Manage the interim reporting to Group
- Manage audit planning / hard close cycles
- Manage group tax, treasury and other statutory requirements
- Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation process
- Ad hoc analysis and query resolution
- Review & challenge the submissions
- Support Oracle implementation (including testing)
- Support continued process improvements / reporting efficiencies
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong technical skills
- Experience of consolidation / similar business unit role
- Strong system skills - Excel, MDAX (or similar), HFM (or similar) and Caseware (or similar)
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload to deliver results within agreed timescales
- The ability to work as part of a team
