We are looking for a skilled Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in London.

As a Litigation Lawyer, you will be responsible for running an interesting and diverse caseload which may include:
  • Social care debt recovery
  • Power of attorney issues
  • No recourse to public funds
  • Judicial review
  • Local authority criminal proceedings
  • General litigation matters


You will also be responsible for dealing with work from the Council's busy Rogue Landlord Team. There is also the opportunity to carry out your own advocacy.

The ideal candidate will already have local authority experience and will have developed a strong level of experience in handling public litigation matters with a sound knowledge of the relevant areas of law.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Litigation Lawyer to join a close knit friendly team within a supportive local authority. The offices are accessible by close proximity to transport links.

The contract is for an initial period of 3 months, however it is likely that this will be extended.
