Douglas Scott are pleased to be assisting a well-known Management consulting business in their search for a Legal Counsel to join their already established Manchester office.
Reporting to the UK General Counsel, you will be responsible for assisting and leading on a variety of Commercial work. Typically this will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating of all 3rd party contracts such as, IT, services, distribution and more. In addition, it is anticipated that the roleholder will be part of business wide projects, assist with ongoing GDPR compliance, and provide strategic input to the Manchester office and wider UK business. The UK Legal team is small in number, so you will gain fantastic exposure to the daily activities of the business. On site in Manchester is the MD and other members of the senior management team.
Applications are invited from Commercial Solicitors with 2 years or more PQE. You will be confident and be able to work alone and to tight deadlines. There is flexibility on offer in terms of home working.
