A brilliant opportunity is available for an experienced Data Privacy Counsel in one of the World's premier multi-national corporations. Their legal team needs a talented and passionate Solicitor or Data Privacy professional with a legal background to step on board and provide high class legal counsel in their London office. This promises to be a challenging, engaging and fulfilling post taking on responsibility for a diverse workload that is critical to the businesses operations. The organisation is looking to place a Senior Data Privacy Counsel who will drive their continued development with a keen eye for innovation and opportunities to increase efficiency; this will include initiatives focused around legal technology and new, modern ways for Lawyers to conduct their work.

The role demands a Lawyer who has substantial experience and understanding at EMEA level of the full range data protection issues, including GDPR, Binding Corporate Rules, EU/US Privacy Shield and Interest Based Advertising. You will serve as data protection legal "subject matter expert" to colleagues across the General Counsel and the business as a whole. Your remit will extend across the EMEA jurisdiction supporting on business projects in all areas of the organisation, as such you will need to keep abreast of all legislative and regulatory developments to ensure accuracy in the provision of advisory services. Further duties include the revision of contractual documents in accordance with Data Protection regulations and privacy related legal due diligence.
