Frazer John Recruitment, Finance Practice (London), is partnering with a major Real Estate Venture Capital House who have a Financial Controller opportunity. This role reports directly into the CFO and requires an individual with a strong academic background, an ACA or ACCA qualification and Fund experience.
This is a personality driven role with the client looking for an individual who can project their branding and lead the finance team from within, driving innovation and change as the business expands.

Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and property reports
- Oversee all financial accounts, prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out
- Take responsibility for property cash flow, preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
- Consolidation of accounts across multiple jurisdictions
- Statutory reporting and coordination of annual audits
- Assisting with setting and reviewing annual budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts
- Maintaining accountancy and budgeting systems and policies
- Portfolio performance monitoring and management
- Development and maintenance of financial models
- Portfolio valuations
- Support Acquisition and Legal teams in financial, tax and structuring due diligence
- Qualified Accountant, ACA/ ACCA
- Experience of:
- IFRS and UK GAAP financial reporting
- Financial and management accounting (including audit)
- FCA-regulated structures and businesses - Preparation and experience of VAT accounting
- Financial and accounting modelling skills in Excel
- Highly numerate, methodical in prioritising work and multi-tasking and able to demonstrate attention to detail
- Commercially and entrepreneurially minded
- Exposure to private equity (or similar) fund structures is beneficial
- Flexible, hard-working, individual who would thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
