Excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Your new company
Our client, a successful rapidly expanding manufacturer and one of the market leaders in it's field, based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, is looking to recruit to the newly created job of Financial Controller. This role will offer potential for fast track progression to Finance Director in the short to medium term.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director and initially to Group, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a small team. Responsibilities will include producing the monthly management accounts, KPI's, cash flow forecasting, liaison with external auditors and reporting to shareholders on site performance and weekly results. You will support the Managing Director on commercial and production initiatives as the company continues to grow and gains more autonomy from the Group.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a professionally qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience with broad ranging accounting experience ideally within the SME and/or FMCG sector. You must be hands-on, have a meticulous approach to your work and be able to manage and motivate a team as well as driving through change to improve business performance.
