Finance Director

Our client is a multi-site retail who is seeking a finance director to lead a small finance team and to improve overall corporate governance. Reporting to the directors you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage the finance function and ensure maximum value / return
• Prepare management accounts
• Implement robust internal controls
• Review computer systems and software to ensure they are adequate and will allow for growth
• Help establish most profitable lines of business
• Managing cash
• Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.
• Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
• Steering company through organic growth
• Managing change and profitability improvement
• Participating in board meetings

Experience required:

• Qualified finance director
• Experience of retail
• Strong IT skills
• Great attention to detail
• Good communication skills & hands on in approach
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
