Financial Controller

The Opportunity

Capital Futures are currently working with an exciting and high growth Private Equity backed business based in Liverpool who are seeking a bright, energetic and ambitious Financial Controller to lead the finance function and support the continued growth. You will form an integral part of the Senior Management team with specific responsibility for the full mix of financial management and reporting.

The Role

You will ensure that financial controls, systems and processes are fit for purpose, and you will oversee the maintenance of the control environment in the ERP system - IFS.

• On a monthly basis you will have responsible for all reporting to group and to the board. You'll work with the operational teams to develop improved reporting in line with business requirements.
• As a leader, you will be managing a team of six and you'll ensure the staff under your management perform to a high standard and that relevant coaching and training is provided to develop their skill

Requirements

• You'll be a qualified accountant with a good understanding of manufacturing businesses (Preferred). Ideally you will be ACA trained and have a strong knowledge of financial control and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• You'll be a confident business partner who can influence senior operational managers.
• You'll have experience of working with ERP systems, IFS preferably. Previous development experience would be advantageous.
