Company Commercial Solicitor

QED legal are working with one a progressive, modern and expanding law firm in Oxford assisting in the recruitment of a commercial lawyer to their highly regarded team.

This role may be of particular interest to experienced solicitors with upwards of 5 years PQE that are looking for progression opportunities into senior positions but perhaps are not envisaging getting such opportunities in their current roles.

The commercial team at this multi service law firm enjoy a fantastic reputation in the Oxfordshire area as well as further afield representing clients ranging from large multi national companies to local businesses. Due to their continual high service they have been able to retain a loyal client base that they have built up over the years as well as continuing to attract work from new clients based on recommendations and their reputation in commercial law with both local businesses and companies with a national presence.

The successful candidate for this position must be able to confidently deal with a broad range of company commercial matters. Work coming into the department will include matters such as shareholders agreements,structures and restructuring of companys, IP/IT, data protection and a broad range of commercial contracts.

In addition to the technical side of things you will also have the opportunity to get involved in the business development and networking activities of the firm to develop the department further. This area of law is one which the firm sees as a key area of development and you will therefore become integral to the continued success and of the department right from day 1 which will guarantee superb progression prosepcts

It is necesary that you are comfortable in getting involved involved in marketing activities of the firm and are friendly, professional and personable with the ability to build up lasting relationships.
