Legal Counsel is sought by our client who is now looking to grow and recruit an additional commercial lawyer in their small In-house legal function in Leeds
Client Details
The client is a established client in the FS sector who have a small In-house legal team and can offer varied work. They will offer good support and the opportunity to get involved in varied and complex commercial matters.
Description
The role is varied but the Legal Counsel can expect to be involved in drafting high value commercial agreements, IT agreements, media agreements etc. They will work closely with the procurement team and work with stakeholders and the Head of Legal on providing legal advise and risk management to the business.
Profile
You will be a Commercial lawyer who is confident at picking up their own workload. The expectation is that the successful candidate will be from a private practice background or already working as a Legal Counsel. This role is for the lawyer to work as second in command to the Head of Legal
