Property Development Solicitor

Property Development Solicitor / Real Estate Lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE is sought for an brand new in-house role in Warrington, Cheshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a site / land acquisition and residential development solicitor to join a leading property company as it sets up a new legal team covering its Northern region.

Our client is a national property business focused on the development of residential property. It completes on thousands of homes each year and is constantly acquiring, developing and selling new sites.

BCL Legal has been asked to support the company with its establishment of a new in-house legal team in Warrington, Cheshire. This team will provide legal advice across the company's Northern region, and will work with business stakeholders from initial bid stage, through site setup, to plot sales.


Role:

A key role in the new team is the position of Legal Manager, a role which requires an experienced Property Development Solicitor / Real Estate Lawyer, ideally with existing management / supervisory experience.

The role of the Legal Manager / Property Development Solicitor is a key hire within the new legal team. Responsible for site acquisition and residential development work, the post-holder will be a key point of contract for the regional directors and land teams within the Northern region. You will also help to manage and supervise the wider Northern legal team, and help with the recruitment of new team members as and when required.


About you:

Individuals applying for the post of Legal Manager / Property Development Solicitor must possess existing experience handling complex and high-value site acquisition and development projects, ideally residential in nature. Existing management / supervisory experience is desired.
