Financial services arm of 'household name' requires a lawyer to join its London office (West End based).
As one of three lawyers in the organisation, you will be an integral part of the business and be responsible for a wide range of legal work. This is a new expansion role for the team.
The work will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a very broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, IT agreements, vendor, service and supply contracts, engagement terms etc. It will also involve other legal and risk issues as required, working closely with the wider compliance, governance and company secretarial teams.
A solid academic and legal background is essential. Our client will consider people coming from a wide range of backgrounds including corporate, commercial insurance, general financial services, pensions, banking or asset management/funds. Experience in the financial services industry would be helpful in this position however it isn't required if people have an interest in the area and relevant experience.
